Looks like a jumping spider. Don't be alarmed. Yes, the jumping can be scary, but jumping spiders are totally harmless, and actually a lot of fun to play with. Fat hairy spiders are way less creepy than skinny, leggy ones anyway.
Jumping spiders are about the only spiders I won't instantly kill if I find one in my house. I found one in class one time and played with it all hour. Seriously. They'll interact with you, not just run and hide.
I know that probably won't change your opinion of them, but I'm telling you: those fat, black, hairy ones are the nicest of them all.
I think I would pay money to watch a day in the the life of Mara. Hilarious.
I mean, I have so much fun in class, I can only imagine it getting better, hahaha.
